Road traffic accident
A 14-year-old boy is in hospital fighting for his life after he chased his football on to a Sheffield road and was run over.
According to Sheffield Police, the teenager has suffered "life threatening" head, chest and arm injuries as a result of a collision with a silver Vauxhall Vectra.
The car, which was being driven by a 32-year-old Sheffield man, was moving along Holbrook Rise in Halfway at the time of the incident.
Police have confirmed that the driver of the car was not injured in the crash, but the young boy is being treated at Sheffield Children's Hospital.

David Urpeth from law firm Irwin Mitchell said: "This tragic road traffic accident highlights the fact that when pedestrians are involved in road crashes they can suffer serious or fatal injuries.
"Whilst pedestrians should of course look for cars before stepping into the road, drivers need to be aware that some people, especially children, may attempt to cross when it is unsafe to do so.
"Sadly, I represent many people in claims for compensation following injury or death following a road traffic accident."
