New brain injury solicitor at Irwin Mitchell's Leeds office
An experienced brain injury solicitor has joined the personal injury department at the Leeds office of national law firm Irwin Mitchell.
Joanne Ewart has been appointed as an associate solicitor within the neurotrauma team at the Wellington Place office.
She joins with 13 years’ experience as a personal injury lawyer, including four years as the head of personal injury at Shulmans, based in Leeds, having originally trained in York.
Joanne is a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority personal injury panel and accredited as a litigator with APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers).
She said: "I’ve worked on brain injury cases since I was a paralegal before I qualified as a solicitor, which is quite unusual. It is a fascinating and hugely satisfying area of law and I’m looking forward to using my experience at Irwin Mitchell.
