Success For Law Firm In West Midlands Regional Final
Irwin Mitchell has been recognised for its ongoing commitment to apprenticeships at the West Midlands Regional Final of the 2022 National Apprenticeship Awards.
Apprenticeship Manager Lorcan Seery, together with talent acquisition apprentices Olivia Brown and Charlotte Ward were on hand to receive the Highly Commended Award on behalf of the firm.
The award follows Irwin Mitchell being named by The Lawyer as offering more apprenticeships than any other UK law firm in its UK200 guide.
Now in their 19th year, the National Apprenticeship Awards are designed to recognise and reward the achievements of apprentices themselves, in addition to apprenticeship champions and employers alike.
Expert Opinion“We’re continuing to develop our apprenticeship scheme and it’s an outstanding achievement to be highly commended at the awards established to recognise excellence in this field.
“A lot of hard work has gone into apprenticeships at Irwin Mitchell and we’re proud to be leading the field for UK law firms when it comes to offering new routes to successful careers.
“This award is another positive step as we continue to improve our group performance in terms of diversity, with even more opportunities for people from a range of backgrounds to join Irwin Mitchell and build a successful career journey and also for internal colleagues to build new skills and develop their internal mobility and options to progress.
“Apprenticeships are an important source of new talent and bring with them enthusiasm and new perspectives that play an important part in invigorating our service. A willingness to try new things keeps us at the forefront of offering the very best service to our clients and the success of our apprentices has inevitably helped to shape the success and achievements of the wider firm.” Susana Berlevy - Group Chief People Officer
Regional winners at the Apprenticeship Awards are automatically shortlisted for the national ceremony, which takes place on 30 November.
