Irwin Mitchell’s Corporate Team Advises On Latest Deal

Nottingham-based Phenna Group has acquired Pavement Testing Services (PTS) as it continues to build a global portfolio of independent testing, inspection, certification and compliance (TICC) businesses that serve a variety of sectors.

PTS was founded in 2002 and is now one of the UK’s leading providers of highway infrastructure surveys, investigations and assessments. It has offices in Preston, Chichester and Sheffield and serves customers including Highways England, The Ministry of Defence, numerous Highway Authorities and airport operators.

The deal to buy PTS follows Phenna Group’s recent purchase of Singapore-based A-Star Testing & Inspection.

Corporate partner, Nick Dawson, along with Tom Wisniewski and Aidan Clucas from Irwin Mitchell’s Corporate team in Birmingham, advised Phenna Group on the PTS deal.
