Results Reflect Strength In Depth And Client Centric Approach
The publication of the guide to the UK’s leading law firms in 2021 has once again seen Irwin Mitchell retain its strong rankings across the board.
The publication of the Legal 500 UK 2022 Guide sees 32 Irwin Mitchell teams with top tier rankings, while the firm is recommended in 63 others.
There are four new sector entries in Contentious Trusts and Probate and Intellectual Property in the North West, Family in East Anglia and Trade Marks, Copyright and Design in London.
Three other practice areas have also moved up a tier this year, Pensions in London, Employment in Kent, Surry and Sussex and Corporate and Commercial in the North West.
The leading independent guide recognises the achievements of firms and individuals over the last 12 months and has seen an impressive 108 colleagues individually named, including a further eight entering the Legal 500 rankings for the first time.
The publication of the guide follows a further 11 Irwin Mitchell TTE and WTED lawyers being recognised in the latest round of Spears 500 wealth management rankings.

The Legal 500 results follow a stream of successes for Irwin Mitchell that has seen the firm announce a 93% retention rate of newly qualified solicitors and the adoption of a Flexible by Choice policy, allowing all colleagues to work when and where they want, subject to client requirements.
The positive rankings in the Legal 500 Guide also follow an 11th consecutive year of growth for the 2020-21 financial year, with turnover up to £275.8m.
