Irwin Mitchell’s Corporate Team Advises On Latest Deal
idverde has completed the purchase of Assist Group, an established provider of grounds maintenance, arboriculture and highway services.
Based in St Helens, Assist has annual sales of £14m and employs 217 people. This acquisition strengthens idverde’s presence in the North West and Midlands, providing a complementary offer to existing clients in both companies and further develops idverde’s extensive national coverage.
idverde is Europe’s leading provider of grounds maintenance services and landscape construction projects. It has a turnover in excess of €500m and employs 5,500 staff throughout France, Holland and the UK.
Within the UK, idverde has over 3,000 directly employed colleagues serving clients both locally and nationally.
Corporate partner Nick Dawson in the Birmingham office of law firm Irwin Mitchell, alongside associate Matt Smith, led the team which advised idverde on the transaction.
