New Appointment Builds On Growth In The Department

The Birmingham office of Irwin Mitchell has announced further growth in its Corporate team with the arrival of new partner, Emma Callow.

Joining from Pinsent Masons, Emma specialises in corporate finance work and is experienced in advising companies on strategic acquisitions, disposals, corporate restructurings and joint ventures, both domestic and overseas, and general corporate advisory work.

Emma specialises in advising on M&A transactions in the manufacturing, technology and support services sectors.

The Birmingham office of Irwin Mitchell has advised a range of businesses on a number of multi-million pound transactions during 2018. These companies include idverde UK, Nuffield Health, M&J Evans Construction, Hadley Industries and Reconomy.

Emma’s arrival coincides with the promotion of Birmingham-based Corporate Solicitor, Matt Smith, to Associate. Matt joined Irwin Mitchell in 2011 and he specialises in all aspects of corporate law, including acquisitions and disposals, private equity and corporate governance and advisory. 

Irwin Mitchell has also recently been named in the top 10 of most active M&A law firms in the Midlands during 2018.
