

Law Firm Continues Investment Into Its Business Division
National law firm Irwin Mitchell has expanded both its Corporate and its Commercial teams in London with the appointment of two new partners.
Deborah (Debbie) Serota has joined the firm as a corporate partner. She joins from Darlingtons Solicitors LLP where she has been a partner in the corporate practice since 2012. Debbie specialises in M&A, joint ventures, equity fundraisings and shareholder agreements. She also advises companies as they prepare for sale.
She joins a growing national corporate practice at Irwin Mitchell which is currently ranked as the 8th most active UK M&A legal adviser nationally for 2017 in the Experian league tables.
This appointment brings the number of corporate partners at Irwin Mitchell to 15. The firm recently recruited new corporate partners Gavin Maddison in Leeds and Adam Kaucher and Victoria Zivkovic in Manchester.
Winston Green has also joined Irwin Mitchell’s London office as a new partner in the commercial team. Winston joins from Sainsbury’s Bank where he had the roles of Head of Legal and Data Protection Officer. Prior to that he spent nearly 13 years at Dentons, London, in its TMT practice.
Winston specialises in complex technology transactions and data protection advisory work, especially in the areas of financial services, fintech and the aviation industry. He is joining Irwin Mitchell’s growing IT and data protection team, which is now six partners strong nationally.
