Travel Law Experts Call For Investigation Into Conditions On Cruise Ship
International travel law experts at leading law firm Irwin Mitchell have called for an investigation into conditions onboard a cruise vessel, after reports have surfaced about an outbreak of gastric illness.
It is reported that around 50 passengers and crew aboard the Ocean Princess have been affected by an illness of unknown etiology.
Those affected on the ship, run by Princess Cruises, are believed to be experiencing gastric symptoms.
Outbreak Today News reported that in response to the outbreak, Princess Cruises and the crew aboard the ship had increased cleaning and disinfection procedures, collected stool specimens for testing and made daily reports of gastrointestinal illness cases to the Vessel Sanitation Program (VSP).
