Lawyers Set To Test Skills At Salford Quays Competition
Lawyers from Irwin Mitchell’s Manchester office will be testing their physical strength at Salford Quays on Saturday 13 June when they take part in a Dragon Boat Race competition to raise money for the Prince’s Trust.
The charity helps to support 13 to 30 year olds who are unemployed or are struggling at school and at risk of exclusion and provided assistance to 58,000 unemployed people in this age group in 2014.
Three in four young people helped by Prince’s Trust schemes move into work, education or training. The organisation needs to raise £1 million a week to continue its work with young people across the UK and relies on donations to do this.
The Irwin Mitchell team taking on the other competitors on the 250m course includes representatives from both the business and personal legal services teams including Grahame Codd, Roy Beckett, Gayle Palmer, Alexandra Barrie, Claire McKay, Cathy Leech, Ayse Ince, Laura Mitchell, David Wright, Kelly Egginton and Saoirse De Bont.
Grahame Codd, the Regional Managing Partner at Irwin Mitchell Manchester, said:
Anyone looking to support the efforts of the team can donate here or attend the event on Saturday to cheer on the competitors.
