Bristol Law Firm Supports The Butterfly Hut
Lawyers from a Bristol law firm dressed up as popular characters from Disney’s ‘Frozen’ to help local children’s charity celebrate their 1st anniversary.
The Butterfly Hut was set up a year ago by Kellie Evans and two other mothers who all have children with additional needs and they wanted to make sure their youngsters and others had access to a space where they can play in a safe and relaxed environment.
Eleri Davies and Carrie Stoneham from Irwin Mitchell’s Bristol office dressed up as Elsa and Anna from Frozen and went to The Butterfly Hut on Saturday 4th April to deliver Easter Eggs and do some face painting with the children and their parents.
Around 60 children and 25 adults supported by The Butterfly Hut turned up for the party.
This is the second event organised by the group that Irwin Mitchell have supported and all money raised will go towards buying sensory equipment for the organisation.
Eleri Davies, a specialist medical negligence lawyer at Irwin Mitchell said: “It was great to show our support for The Butterfly Hut once again and raise awareness about the great work they do in the local community. The party was a great success and my and Carrie’s face-painting skills were definitely put to the test on the day, but I think we did well.
“We are proud to support this fantastic organisation in Bristol which provides so many families with invaluable support and a safe place for parents and children to come and enjoy themselves.”
