Collision Between South Mimms And Barnet

A man has been arrested and investigations are continuing after a crash involving a double-decker bus and a car in Hertfordshire left 45 people needing hospital treatment.

The incident occurred on the A1081 between South Mimms and Barnet on Monday morning (October 20th), with reports revealing that bus – the 614 Uno service, operated by the University of Hertfordshire, to Hatfield Business Park – overturned during the incident.
 
According to the BBC, eight people were taken to hospital with traumatic injuries while another 37 with minor injuries were also hospitalised.
 
A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving following the crash.
