

Midlands Law Firm Further Boosts Medical Negligence Team
Irwin Mitchell Birmingham’s medical law and patient’s rights team has further boosted its existing expertise with the qualification of three new trainees that take the team up to 24 expert lawyers. The 24 strong team of lawyers are supported by 4 paralegals, 5 trainees and 8 litigation assistants taking the department to 41 in total.
Rebecca Risby, Charlotte Cook and Eleanor Parkin all trained at Irwin Mitchell, who have a strong history of organic growth. They also have 14 other lawyers in the team who trained at Irwin Mitchell.
The department handles up to 1,000 medical negligence cases at any one time and remains the only first tier firm in the West Midlands for clinical negligence Claimant work in the Legal 500 directory. The team is also ranked No 1 in the West Midlands in Chambers and Partners.
