Irwin Mitchell Hosts Free Session
Business professionals are set to descend on leading law firm Irwin Mitchell’s London office on Monday 4th July for a free session where achieving a good work life balance in today’s challenging times will be discussed.
Work/Life Balance in the 21st century will see four key speakers address issues including maternity leave and flexible working. Dad of two John Hayes, partner at Irwin Mitchell who heads up the employment law department in the firm’s London office, will give an overview of discrimination issues and flexible working.
Other speakers are QC Rachel Langdale, Barrister Elaine Banton and Head of Irwin Mitchell’s Clinical Negligence department in London, Alison Eddy.
Leena Savjani, a clinical negligence specialist at Irwin Mitchell’s Manchester office, and committee member for the Association Of Asian Women Lawyers, has planned the event in association with both organisations.
She says: “Balancing a family life with a successful career undoubtedly brings challenges. Through this event, we hope to give both men and women the chance to talk openly about their experiences and views relating to flexible working and maternity leave, and to give them valuable information to help them on their career and family journeys.”
