Charity Fundraising
On Sunday 6 December 8 members of staff from Irwin Mitchell’s Newcastle office donned their Santa outfits and joined hundreds of other Santas for a 4K run around Newcastle’s Town Moor.
The event was organised by The Evening Chronicle Sunshine Fund to raise money for the Sunshine Fund and Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice. The 8 runners, Julia Cotterill, Angela Kirtley, Lindsey Houghton, Helen Smith, Kate Nicklin, Toby Brooks, David Preston and Piotr Tkaczyk raised money through sponsorship and the support of Irwin Mitchell Charity Fund.
Angela Kirtley Associate in Irwin Mitchell’s Medical Law and Patients’ Rights Department said “a fun time was had by all and the funds raised will go towards 2 local Charities. Lots of our clients have received grants for much needed equipment from the Sunshine Fund and it was a great way to raise money.”
