Newcastle personal injury solicitors Irwin Mitchell has raised £500 for the People's Kitchen charity in Bath Lane.
The money will be used to provide care and support for the homeless over the Christmas period and is a much-needed cash boost for the charity.
The People's Kitchen in Bath Lane was opened in 1985 and provides shelter, food and company for those living on the streets.
This Christmas it has issued an urgent appeal for extra blankets.
The charity offers support to the homeless and disadvantaged adults through the provision of free food and emergency clothing. It is staffed entirely by volunteers.
Helen Ward, who is on Irwin Mitchell's fundraising committee, said: "I would like to thank everyone at the firm who has contributed.
"The People's Kitchen is a very worthy cause and I'm sure everyone involved there will be very appreciative of this donation, particularly at this time of year."
