Volunteering

Colleagues are encouraged to use their 14 hours (pro rata) allowance by taking part in skills-based volunteering.

We continue to develop and promote our volunteering programme, focused on providing opportunities where we can create the biggest impact, as identified through our materiality assessment. Our main aim is to support children and young people as they prepare for life after education, widening access to careers in our sector, and improving life-chances in areas of the UK where social mobility has been identified as a key issue. We work with a range of third parties to achieve this, including:

• The Catalyst Collective.

Pro Bono

Providing pro bono legal advice to people who may otherwise be unable to access justice is one of the most meaningful ways our lawyers can support and empower communities. It remains a central element of our responsible business approach.

Our Charity Partner

Our charity partner is Crisis, the UK's national charity for people experiencing homelessness.

The Irwin Mitchell Charities Foundation

The Irwin Mitchell Charities Foundation (IMCF) is an independent registered charity, established in 1997 by colleagues to relieve poverty, hardship, and distress in the communities we operate in. Since then, over £4.7m has been donated to good causes.
