Biography
I have been handling complex international aviation claims since 2012. I spent five years in the aviation team at Irwin Mitchell, where I acted for hundreds of clients in some very high profile matters.
I then had a three year spell in Hong Kong, where I acted for numerous aviation entities including major international airlines. In 2020 I returned to Irwin Mitchell, bringing with me a wealth of knowledge and experience about complex international aviation liability and jurisdiction issues.
What inspired you to get into law?
It takes a certain type of person to be a lawyer, and one day I realised that my skills and characteristics lent themselves well to a career in law. I treat every legal problem as a puzzle waiting to be solved, and enjoy applying myself to come up with creative solutions.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I'm very grateful that I get to use my skills and knowledge to achieve exceptional results for my clients, while doing my best to guide them through what's often a daunting and difficult process.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
Many firms pay lip service to having an open and inclusive working culture and looking out for the wellbeing of their employees. At Irwin Mitchell, however, there is a genuine warmth - it doesn’t feel forced. It's also inspiring to see how much pride my colleagues take in the fantastic results they achieve for their clients.
What do you do away from the office?
My main hobbies are cooking and music. I own no fewer than 7 instruments (which I play with varying degrees of competence!).
