Biography
For the last 11 years I have worked entirely on Court of Protection matters for client's who don't have the mental capacity to manage their own property and financial affairs. A Deputy is appointed by Order of the Court and my team are responsible for preparing the Bills of Costs of the Deputy for 1,400+ clients per year. This person following an Order will be known as the Protected Party.
The majority of work I oversee is for the General Management of the protected party's affairs for the year upon the anniversary of the original Order made, unless a further Order is made.
We also prepare bill's for the Appointment of Deputy, Discharge of Deputy, Statutory Will's and other matters for the client such as Family bills for Finance in Divorce, Contact of Children, Section 36(9) Trust Bill's and various Public Law COP matters such as Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Bill's.
