Biography
I am a Financial Services Coordinator and part of the Administration team here at IM Asset Management. The main aspects of my role include liaising with clients and advisers to book review meetings and it’s my job to prepare any relevant documentation needed for the meeting. I support the onboarding of new clients and process new business applications. I also assist with client queries and requests. I am often the first port of call for clients, financial providers, and other Irwin Mitchell Departments.
What inspired you to get into financial services?
I worked in the retail and food industry after I left college. I always enjoyed and was comfortable interacting with customers and vendors. I successfully applied for an apprenticeship in Business administration in March 2017 which gave me the opportunity to start a career in Financial Services, and I haven’t looked back ever since.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Helping clients fulfil their immediate financial needs and achieve their financial planning objectives. Building great professional relationships with my colleagues and watching them grow into better versions of themselves.
What do you do away from the office?
My Wife gave birth to our first child last year, so most of my spare time is spent trying to keep him out of harm’s way… and watching Bluey. I am part of a disability friendly football team where I play as a Goalkeeper. I really enjoy watching Stand-up comedy (at all levels) and regularly attend comedy clubs in and around Sheffield. I also love to cook and I’m a bit of a “foodie”.
