Biography
I trained and qualified as a family solicitor at Manchester firm, DWF. I joined Irwin Mitchell as a solicitor in March 2021 and was made Associate in May 2023.
I represent a diverse range of clients experiencing relationship breakdowns. I advise clients on various family law matters, including:
- Divorce and financial settlements
- Spousal and child maintenance
- Pensions
- Ring-fencing pre-marital assets
- Child welfare issues
- Enforcing orders to regulate arrangements for children
- Enforcing financial orders for court order breaches.
What inspired you to get into law?
I was inspired by my school English teacher, Mrs Spence. She encouraged me to speak publicly and gave me the confidence and skills to debate contentious issues. She inspired me to study law at University; I would not be doing what I do today without her influence.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
The biggest reward for me is helping people with what is generally one of the most difficult and poignant times of their lives.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
No day is ever the same. I enjoy speaking with new clients and getting to grips with their individual and unique circumstances. Each of my client’s cases has its own peculiarities and quirks which continue to interest and challenge me every day.
What do you do away from the office?
Outside of work I enjoy looking after my three dogs. I also love shopping, spa days and eating out (far too much!) with friends and family.
Testimonials
“Thank you so much Hepzi for representing me. I do appreciate all your advice and help. Just being honest you have done so much in such a short period of time and you believe in me. The children and me can start our new life together the start of our journey.” - Mrs L, Client
“I would like to comment on my satisfaction since asking for your help - I do not wish to talk poorly of others however, I feel that I understood the process more within 10 minutes of speaking to you than I did with months of dealing with my last solicitors. I understand this is a small case for you, with limited money (I wish I appointed you at the start)! yet I feel that you are still committed to proving help and support - Thank you.” - Mr W, Client
“I wanted to say a huge thank you for all your help and advice given. You've been wonderfully caring and understanding given the circumstances. I'm hopeful that things can only get better from here however without guidance from yourselves and others at Irwin Mitchell I think I may have ended up very unwell. I'm emotional even writing this but thank you so much for everything.” - Client
