Biography
I’m a solicitor in our Serious Injury team based in London. I’m also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
Since qualifying as a solicitor, I’ve worked in personal injury, first working on behalf of insurance companies but now acting for individuals. In my role I support clients who’ve sustained life-changing injuries such as traumatic brain injuries and multiple traumas. I also represent the families of individuals and their loved ones following fatal accidents.
When handling my cases I try to secure early interim payments for my clients wherever possible. This helps me to put in place the right rehabilitation, assistance and accommodation for my clients.
Our aim is to improve their quality of life, and help them to overcome the impact of a serious injury as best we can. I also work to ensure that families of the injured clients get the help and support they need throughout the process.
I’m experienced with cases involving incidents in public places and the workplace, as well as road traffic accidents.
What inspired you to get into law?
I had an interest in the law and aspired to be a solicitor from an early age. I always wanted to make a difference to people’s lives and help them in any way that I could.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Seeing a claim through from beginning to end, and seeing the difference that access to rehabilitation, care and support through compensation can make to their lives. Also, knowing they can rebuild and restore their quality of life.
What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy foreign travel and particularly holidaying in Portugal where my in-laws have an apartment. I have enjoyed many camping trips both in the UK and in France.
I also like spending time with my wife and two children. Age has curtailed my budding football career but I remain an avid supporter of Aston Villa FC.
