Biography
I am a Solicitor in the Serious Injury team at Irwin Mitchell, working in the London office.
My work involves advising clients who have suffered life changing injuries. These cases can involve accidents at work, on the road, or in a public place.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
The people. My team is a highly skilled group of individuals who want to use those skills to help others. The wider firm culture is also fantastic and there's always opportunities to further your own interests, for example through volunteering opportunities.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Serious Injury is a unique field in that you can utilise the law to fundamentally change someone's life, whether it be through compensation or simply providing answers. It is extremely rewarding to be able to assist someone in what may be their most difficult experience. I enjoy being able to build positive relationships with clients and support them through challenging times.
What inspired you to get into law?
I have always found law interesting, and my interest sparked early on in my studies. I have had personal experience of a close family member experiencing a life changing injury therefore was always leaning towards Serious Injury as a specialty. I also wanted a career which involved helping people and making a difference.
What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy doing regular Pilates and attending my local choir.
