Associate Dipal Patel Welcomed To Chichester Outfit

Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth’s Chichester office has recruited a new family law associate to its team.

Dipal Patel joins from Wellers Law Group, having qualified in 2008 with a well-established firm in Surrey. Since then Dipal has practiced exclusively in family law and is experienced in a wide range of family law matters including financial disputes, complex matters involving children and pre and post-nuptial agreements.

She is also regularly instructed on high-value cases by high-net-worth individuals on financial matters including pre and post-nuptial and separation agreements.

Dipal joins just as the Chichester office has enjoyed success in the 2018 Legal 500 rankings, with several private client teams improving their listings. The south coast family law team, which is headed by Katharine Shaw, entered the Legal 500 rankings for the first time this year. 

Irwin Mitchell’s Chichester office was ranked as a top-tier firm for will, trust and estate disputes and the office’s tax, trusts and estates team – which is one of the largest specialist outfits in the country – was elevated to second tier.

As part of the wider Private Wealth team the team is also nominated for Private Client Team of the Year at the upcoming British Legal Awards.
