Frequently Asked Questions

It’s important to note that divorce and financial settlements involve separate proceedings. Divorce is a standalone process which deals only with the ending of your marriage.

How much your divorce will cost depends on how much work is involved in negotiating a financial settlement with your ex-partner. In general, it’ll cost more if there are major disagreements or if you have to go to court.

We offer a fixed fee option for divorce. This covers the cost of the whole divorce process, excluding standard court fees – which you will need to pay separately. You will have your own legal advisor by your side for the whole process.

Financial settlements or child arrangements are treated as separate matters outside of the fixed fee agreement. Your solicitor can give you an estimate of the costs you might incur.
