Fresh off the plane from the Paralympic Games in Rio, triple gold medallist
Hannah Cockroft MBE, joined Irwin Mitchell for a special evening in London.
The leading star of our Don’t Quit, Do It campaign had only one day at
home since returning from the games before she came to speak to staff and
guests at Irwin Mitchell’s event at Altitude London in Millbank Tower.
The event kicked off with an introduction from Irwin Mitchell’s CEO Andrew
Tucker who discussed our on-going sponsorship of Hannah and how proud
we all are of her recent successes.
As the sun set over London, Hannah captivated the audience with tales
from her time in Rio and predictions of what the future holds for her career,
before answering questions from the guests.
She revealed:
-
That she has struck up a friendship with Breaking Bad actor RJ Mitte
after meeting him during filming for Channel 4’s ‘The Last Leg’ in Rio.
- That she carried one of her treasured gold medals from Rio, to our
London event in her mother’s sock.
- While preparing for races during this year’s games one of her rituals was
to get her nails done before hand.
