On 2 October 2010 a Cessna 185 Skywagon had departed from Maria Reiche (Peru) to fly over the Nazca Lines when it crashed killing all onboard.  The US manufactured aircraft was carrying 4 British tourists, who had boarded the flight to view one of Peru’s top tourist attractions, when it reportedly experienced engine trouble and came down approximately 240m south-east of Lima.
