First, we talk to you. We find out what you want to achieve and what’s important to you and your family. Rehab works best with your support and with the support of your loved ones, so we go to great lengths to make sure you’re happy with your programme of support. Once we understand what you want to get out of the rehab programme, we will plan your treatment. This may mean we refer you to a specialist case manager who will assess your needs or one of our Support and Rehabilitation team. If you already have rehab treatment on the NHS, we will work alongside the NHS to help you access any other care and support that you need. The NHS does a great job of looking after people who are injured. Unfortunately, though, you might not always get the rehab you need. Certain parts of the country don’t have the resources to offer all the necessary rehab services.
