Medical Negligence
London

Legal 500
I’m a partner in our London medical negligence team. From early on in my career, I found myself compelled by the idea that legal work could do more than resolve disputes; it could help restore a sense of stability and dignity. That belief has stayed with me throughout my journey at Irwin Mitchell, where I began in 2010 and became a partner in 2019.
My work focuses on supporting adults and children who’ve sustained serious injuries as a result of medical negligence.
I usually work with adults, children and families whose lives have been profoundly affected by serious medical negligence. Many of my clients have sustained life-changing neurological injuries, including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, birth injuries and neurosurgical injuries.
I also act for clients who have undergone amputations as a result of negligent medical care, including delayed diagnosis, failures in treatment, surgical complications or infection. These cases often involve not only the physical consequences of limb loss, but also the emotional, practical and financial impact of adapting to life after an amputation.
The clients I work with are often facing an extremely difficult and uncertain time. They may be trying to understand what happened, whether mistakes were made, and how they will access the rehabilitation, therapies, prosthetics, specialist equipment, adapted accommodation, care and financial security they need for the future.
