I’ve been with IM since 2017 as Head of Lateral Hiring. I manage a delivery focused team that works in partnership with the business, successfully recruiting talent, delivering on projects while focusing our sourcing strategies to maximise cost savings and quality.
My role is to think creatively and strategically to set, embed and drive the business’ recruitment. The continuous improvement of our attraction strategies and methodologies is key while ensuring that we attract, recruit and retain the highest calibre of candidates.
What inspired you to join Irwin Mitchell?
When I was looking for my next role, IM was a target firm for me.
It’s forward thinking and has a great reputation for delivering a fantastic service to its clients. It’s a diverse and inclusive organisation and they never sit on their laurels.
IM’s desire to continuously improve itself was a key motivator me to pursue an opportunity here rather than our competitors.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
I have a voice and I can make a difference. This applies to every colleague at every level.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
I work with amazingly talented and inspiring colleagues at all levels, who I learn from every day. I love people and it helps that I’m a naturally chatty (nosy) person because people fascinate me.
I also love how I’m challenged every day. I’m valued for who I am and what I bring, and I’m not just a number.
What do you do away from the office?
Away from the office I spend my time with family and friends. A lot of my time is spent with my husband and two boys. I enjoy visiting our home in Spain, shopping, going to the gym and drinking wine on the weekends.
