‘Vastly Experienced’ Lawyer Bolsters Fast Growing Team

Law firm Irwin Mitchell has appointed Vijay Bange as Partner and Head of its national Construction & Engineering team.

Vijay brings over three decades of experience, having held senior leadership roles at Trowers & Hamlins and Pinsent Masons. Most recently, he served as Chair of the International Arbitration Division and was Construction Lead Partner at Duane Morris in London.

At Irwin Mitchell, Vijay will be based in the London office and will lead the national team with a focus on growth. He aims to establish a successful arbitration offering in the Capital and secure more work through the firm’s international desks.

Vijay’s client base spans developers, contractors, sub-contractors, consultants, and manufacturers, with specific expertise in residential and commercial property, infrastructure, manufacturing, engineering, energy, and pharmaceuticals.

Vijay’s arrival follows the recent recruitment of construction disputes partner, Alex Delin, from Fieldfisher, and supplements the strong non-contentious practice led by partner Robert Tunningley.
