Vijay Bange

Vijay is a Partner in our London office and leads our national Construction & Engineering team.

He brings extensive experience in handling construction, engineering, and energy disputes of all sizes and complexities, both in arbitration proceedings and before the Technology and Construction Court (TCC). Vijay regularly advises on major domestic and international infrastructure projects, including airports, roads, harbours, and waste-to-energy developments. He is highly skilled in adjudication, serving as an accredited adjudicator on the CIOB and CIC panels, and acts for referring and responding parties as well as adjudicators.

Vijay’s expertise spans the full range of Construction Industry Standard Forms and bespoke agreements. He advises clients throughout the project life cycle, offering guidance on dispute avoidance and contractual interpretation. He is an advocate of innovative ADR approaches and has participated in countless mediations—both domestic and international—including cross-border mediations in the US and Singapore. He is also experienced in expert determination processes, whether contractual or ad hoc, particularly in relation to complex technical and high-value commercial claims.
