Celebrating International Women's Day 2019
This year's International Women's Day on 8 March 2019 was an extra special celebration for women in the legal profession.
100 faces 100 years
To celebrate this special year, the First 100 Years project which was established in 2014 by Dana Denis-Smith to mark the landmark anniversary, set out to photograph 100 faces of women in the legal profession. Photographers travelled to London, Cardiff, Belfast and Edinburgh and captured the portraits of over 750 women in law.
My colleagues Libby, Bronwyn, Louise, Jess, Charlotte, Jade and Caoimhe joined hundreds of other women at the Law Society in London to mark the special occasion. Their photographs will feature in the project's exhibition and will be added to the national archive as part of the legacy of the First 100 Years campaign.

The First 100 Years project has also produced a series of interviews with inspirational women in the legal profession.
