Biography
I'm a Solicitor in the Public Law and Human Rights Team specialising in health and welfare matters in the Court of Protection. I joined Irwin Mitchell in September 2022 from a leading Yorkshire based firm. I am often instructed to act on behalf of the protected party and family members in challenging and sensitive cases that have included complex arguments on capacity and best interests. These disputes have included issues around residence, care and contact as well as forced marriage and capacity to engage in sexual relations.
I also work on broader and complex human rights cases to include judicial review and serious medical treatment cases.
I'm also fluent in Urdu.
