I am a dedicated solicitor specialising in Court of Protection matters. With extensive experience and a deep understanding of this complex area of law, I am committed to providing compassionate and expert legal support to individuals and families navigating the Court of Protection.
As a Court of Protection solicitor, my role involves assisting clients with a range of issues related to the management and protection of individuals who lack the mental capacity to make decisions for themselves. This includes:
- Deputyship Applications: Helping clients apply to become a deputy, allowing them to make decisions on behalf of a loved one who lacks capacity
- Financial Management: Assisting with the management of finances, property, and affairs for individuals who are unable to do so independently
- Dispute Resolution: Representing clients in disputes regarding the best interests of the person lacking capacity, including contested deputyship applications and decisions about care and residence.
My approach is always client-focused, ensuring that the best interests of the individual are at the heart of every decision. I work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to provide holistic and effective legal solutions.
