I joined Irwin Mitchell in October 2022 as head Researcher in the Partner Hires team. We act as an internal search function servicing the Partner level hires within IM – both legally qualified and operational.
Our focus is on delivering to the strategic growth plan and the outcome being responsible, sustainable and profitable growth of the Irwin Mitchell business. The team also seeks to engage stakeholders, those within the Irwin Mitchell business and the wider market on key topics such as Diversity & Inclusion as well as others through Thought Leadership.
I spent more than ten years working for one of the leading boutique search firms in The City, and also worked for a top ten UK law firm, as well as The Chambers Legal Directory.
What Inspired You To Join Irwin Mitchell?
I didn’t think I’d ever work for another law firm, but I was intrigued by how strong Irwin Mitchell’s reputation as an employer is. Having come on board, I am thrilled by how welcoming and supportive the environment is.
What's The Most Rewarding Aspect Of Your Role?
Taking the huge amount of information about law firms and the legal world which is out there, and then wrangling it into a format which is incredibly useful to both my team and the wider firm.
What Do You Like About Working At Irwin Mitchell?
It’s great to have challenging work and to do it in such a way where I’/m not micro-managed. I no longer have to commute (unless I want to) and that gives me great scope to plan out my day to get the most from my efforts.
What Do You Do Away From The Office?
Outside work, I try to have as much fun as possible in and around London with my wife and young daughter.
