Emma-Jayne Rudland

What inspired you to get into law?

I became interested in Law at university. I did a Business degree that crossed over into business related law, such as intellectual property and marketing law. I found law to be challenging but interesting as it wasn’t just black and white, it involved argument, reasoning and justification.

I went to Law School after university. While studying, I found my passion for using my knowledge and skills to directly help people. I also have a strong interest in medicine and anatomy. Medical negligence combined both of these passions so that I could directly help individuals get the outcome they deserved while helping improve their quality of life.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?

I enjoy working with my clients and inspirational people to help improve their lives. Many of our clients have suffered life changing injuries or lost their loved ones, working with such strong people collaboratively is very rewarding.

What do you do away from the office?

I love travelling and visiting new places, either close to home or across the other side of the world. I also like spending time with my friends and family and I also love cooking!
