Biography

I am an Associate in the High Net Worth and International Tax team. I am a dually qualified solicitor in England and Wales and Brazil and advise on a wide range of wealth and succession planning and tax matters, with focus on international tax elements.

Key highlights

I am an experienced associate solicitor with a strong background in international tax planning.

I'm also the author of a book on tax treaty abuse and the Principal Purpose Test rule (Arraes, 2022) and have contributed several book chapters and articles on tax matters. I have also served as an adjunct lecturer at universities.

I hold two master’s degrees in international taxation: an MSc from PUC-MG, where I was ranked first in the entrance examination and received a government-funded scholarship for academic excellence (CAPES), and an LLM from Bournemouth University, where I was awarded an academic excellence scholarship.
