Biography
I am a Solicitor in the Asbestos Related Disease team and represent clients across East Anglia. I specialise in bringing legal claims on behalf of clients who have developed asbestos related diseases, namely mesothelioma, asbestosis, pleural thickening and asbestos related lung cancer.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
I am proud to work alongside leaders and experts in this area of law. I am very fortunate to work with a fantastic team, who go the extra mile for our clients.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
It is a privilege to be able to assist clients, and their families, after life-changing diagnoses. I enjoy helping clients through the process of a legal claim and to assist in recovering compensation. It is enormously rewarding to see what positive impact it can have for clients, albeit at such a difficult time. For instance, this includes adaptations around the home, purchasing aids or equipment to help, or simply providing financial security so that they can spend quality time with family.
What inspired you to get into law?
I always wanted to pursue a career where I could use my skills and expertise to help others. I find the law interesting and enjoy the challenges it can present.
What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family as well as swimming and dancing.
