Biography
I have been a paralegal in the Public Law and Human Rights department at Irwin Mitchell since February 2025. In this role, I assist my supervising solicitor with a range of matters, including health and welfare cases in the Court of Protection, civil liberties, judicial review, and inquests.
I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2021, completed an LLM at the University of McGill in 2023, and obtained my LPC from the University of Law in 2024. Prior to joining Irwin Mitchell, I briefly worked in immigration law.
I am deeply passionate about civil liberties and aspire to qualify as a solicitor in this field.
What do you like about working at Irwin Mitchell?
I have really enjoyed working alongside and learning from incredible colleagues with a wide range of expertise. The work is consistently engaging and meaningful, and there is a strong sense of community at Irwin Mitchell that makes it a genuinely supportive and inspiring place to be.
What inspired you to get into law?
I have always been very passionate about issues relating to social justice. As a teenager, I volunteered with a charity in France that supported LGBTQ+ rights. This experience made me realise how powerful the law can be in protecting people and pushing for systemic change and inspired me to pursue a career in law. I was also drawn to a career that would challenge me intellectually while giving me the chance to work closely with people and make a positive impact in the world.
What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy arts and crafts, hiking, musicals and weightlifting.
