I’ve worked on many cases over the years for people who have sustained life-changing injuries.

I acted for a female teenager who sustained a catastrophic brain injury and was told that she would never walk again, never speak again, or eat orally. She now walks and rides horses, eats normally, and is married with two children.

This is just one of many cases I’ve worked on where securing the right rehabilitation and compensation has positively transformed the lives of even the most seriously injured clients.

In the very early days, while funding for rehabilitation is being sorted, I ask our in-house Support and Rehabilitation Coordinators to assist families with practical matters and our Welfare Benefits team to give benefit advice if needed.

Once funding for rehabilitation is secured, I arrange and oversee a tailored and bespoke rehabilitation package for my injured client. This can include care, therapies, medical treatment, transport, equipment and even new housing.

While all of this is going on, I investigate the claim and start to prepare and obtain the evidence and reports that will eventually be needed so that we can value the claim and proceed to settlement.

The claims process can be complex and difficult at times, but it’s my job to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. I pride myself on the fact that clients never have to chase us and we’re with them every step of the way.

First meetings tend to take place when life is chaotic and frightening, so we’ll take the meeting at your pace. I’ll give basic information, find out what’s important to you and your loved one, and will then start to look at what help I can get you while progressing the legal and technical side in the background.

Claims can be long and complicated, so it’s important to establish trust and for clients to feel at ease with the team as we will be working together for some time.

I can meet you at your home, in hospital, or in one of our offices. I’m also able to meet clients remotely via a phone or video call. We work flexibly depending on your needs.
