Amy Gannon
Biography
I have specialised in pursuer personal injury litigation for over 14 years and lead the Serious Injury team in Scotland. I have extensive experience in complex, high value cases involving traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation and polytrauma.
I am passionate about helping clients get the best rehabilitation possible after suffering life changing injuries. I have expertise in securing substantial interim payments and compensation to provide private rehabilitation, care packages, specialist equipment, home adaptions and accommodation.
I am a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and a notary public. I am accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Specialist in Personal Injury Law, and by APIL as a Senior Litigator. I am also certified by the Law Society as a Trauma-Informed Lawyer and on Legal Technology.
What inspired you to get into law?
I was drawn to law by a desire to help others and to make a meaningful difference to people’s lives.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your role?
Seeing the positive impact of rehabilitation, highlighting just how transformative our work can be. It is hugely rewarding that by helping to secure compensation, we can ensure the best possible quality of life for our injured clients (and their families) following a serious injury.

What do you do away from the office?
I enjoy yoga, Pilates, and family time with my husband and daughter.
