Irwin Mitchell strengthens London Corporate team with partner appointment

Leading national law firm Irwin Mitchell has boosted its Corporate team with the appointment of Nicola Bennett as a partner in London.

Nicola joins from Gateley and brings more than 15 years' experience advising businesses, entrepreneurs and investors on a wide range of corporate transactions and strategic matters.

Nicola advises businesses through major strategic events, including acquisitions, disposals and restructurings, bringing clarity and momentum. Her experience spans M&A, particularly MBOs and buy-and-build strategies, and corporate restructuring. She supports founder-led businesses, scaling SMEs and larger corporates across technology, aviation, hospitality and retail.

Nicola has also led complex restructuring projects including demergers, capital reductions, share repurchases and hive ups, often within groups operating across multiple jurisdictions.

At Irwin Mitchell, she’ll work alongside the firm's national Corporate team supporting businesses at every stage of their growth journey, from investment and acquisition through to succession planning and exit.
