Irwin Mitchell in Leeds Adds New Restructuring & Insolvency Legal Director 

Irwin Mitchell has appointed Danielle Bennett as a Legal Director in its market‑leading Restructuring & Insolvency team in Leeds, further strengthening the firm’s national business services capability.

Danielle joins Irwin Mitchell from RPC in London, where she spent six years as a senior associate. Prior to that, she worked at DWF in both Leeds and London, and Cobbetts.

She brings comprehensive expertise across both contentious and non-contentious corporate recovery and insolvency matters, encompassing the full spectrum of formal corporate insolvencies, sophisticated trust money disputes and multi-jurisdictional restructuring and enforcement matters.   

Danielle advises directors, insolvency practitioners, receivers, banks and asset‑based lenders on insolvency, enforcement and restructuring‑related issues; and supports financial institutions on asset‑based lending transactions, including drafting facility and security documentation and advising on security interests.

She also has extensive expertise in personal insolvency, acting for trustees in bankruptcy and high‑net‑worth individuals, with international elements and recognition complexities.
