Irwin Mitchell has further strengthened its growing personal injury team in Scotland with the appointment of Christopher King as a Senior Solicitor.

Christopher is based in the firm’s Glasgow office and joins the Serious Injury team, where he will support clients who have suffered life-changing injuries and those affected by serious accidents.

He brings more than a decade of experience in personal injury litigation, having previously worked for both claimant and defendant law firms as well as insurers. That background gives him valuable insight into how claims are treated on both sides and enables him to anticipate opposition strategies while pursuing the best possible outcomes for clients.

Christopher is known for his determined and clear approach, and is committed to helping people who have been wrongfully injured access justice while guiding them with confidence throughout the claims process.

His appointment follows a period of continued growth for Irwin Mitchell’s personal injury team in Scotland. Recent senior hires include Amy Gannon, who joined as Head of Serious Injury in Scotland, and Darren Deery, who joined last year as Partner and Head of Medical Negligence in Scotland.

Kim Leslie, Head of Personal Injury at Irwin Mitchell Scotland, said:

“Christopher’s appointment is another important step in the growth of our Scottish personal injury team and reflects our commitment to building a strong, specialist practice with the expertise to support clients across Scotland.

“We’re continuing to invest in talented lawyers who share our values and our focus on delivering the best possible outcomes for people whose lives have been affected by serious injury.”

Christopher King said:

“I’m proud to be joining Irwin Mitchell at such an exciting time for the firm’s personal injury team in Scotland. The firm has an outstanding reputation for supporting people following serious and life-changing injuries, and I’m looking forward to working with colleagues across the team to help clients secure the answers, support and compensation they need.”
