Legal 500

I've specialised in personal injury law for over 25 years and lead the Complex Personal Injury team in Scotland. I'm accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in personal injury law and I’m also a Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

I specialise in serious injury and abuse claims and have a long history of successfully working on personal injury and international claims. I’m committed to standing beside and helping people who have been affected by these difficult and traumatic issues get the justice they deserve. I’m especially dedicated to leading groundbreaking litigation for the benefit of child abuse survivors and have been certified in Child-Centred Practice. My work often involves complex, sensitive cases requiring both legal expertise and a compassionate, client-focused approach.

      More about Kim

I work with individuals and families whose lives have been profoundly affected by serious and complex injury, as well as survivors of child abuse.

Many of my clients come to me at a point where they’re trying to make sense of experiences that are life-changing, often overwhelming, and deeply personal. My role is to bring together two things: technical legal excellence and a compassionate approach.

The legal process is only one part of what my clients need. I work closely with them to understand not just what has happened, but who they were before, what their aspirations were, and what matters most to them now. That allows us to build a case that properly reflects the full impact of their experiences.

While no amount of compensation can make up for what they’ve lost, my focus is on securing the resources, rehabilitation, and support that can help clients rebuild their lives. That includes working in a woven way with the wider network around them – medical professionals, therapists, rehabilitation specialists and other experts – to ensure each client’s unique needs are supported throughout their claim.

My aim is always to help my clients feel heard, understood and supported, while delivering the best possible legal outcome.
