Irwin Mitchell lawyers feature in latest annual Pro-Bono Recognition List

Choosing the right services for you
Eleven lawyers from Irwin Mitchell are included in this year’s Pro Bono Recognition List England & Wales
The list is an initiative created to recognise the invaluable contribution made in supporting those most in need of legal help and advice.
Now in its 3rd annual edition, the recognition list was published this week and features solicitors, barristers, chartered legal executives, registered foreign lawyers and registered European lawyers across England and Wales who have given 25 hours or more of their time to pro bono work during the previous calendar year.
The Irwin Mitchell lawyers recognised this year are: Kady Howe, Rebecca Chapman, Emily Mansfield, Daniel Moreton, Samantha Burnard, Sinead Rollinson-Hayes, Lucy Clement, Lauren Mannion, Mathieu Culverhouse, Alexandra Roberts and Loveness Chihoyi.
The list is endorsed by The Lady Chief Justice of England & Wales and supported by The Law Society, Bar Council and all major pro bono legal organisations, with the backing of the Attorney General’s Pro Bono Committee.
Pro bono work provides crucial support to individuals and charities who cannot afford legal support. Lawyers who engage in pro bono work provide an essential service to those in greatest need, yet their efforts often go unrecognised. The recognition list aims to change that by highlighting their invaluable contributions.
Clementine Burch, Pro Bono and Volunteering Manager at Irwin Mitchell said: “The Pro Bono Recognition List is important to encourage those lawyers who go above and beyond to help those who cannot afford to access legal advice.
“We’re proud to see more Irwin Mitchell lawyers recognised year-on-year for their pro bono work and as the List becomes more widely known, we hope it will encourage others to provide pro bono legal support to those most in need.”
