Deal Expands Yorkshire Firm’s Footprint in England and Scotland
Yorkshire-based specialist care provider, Park Homes (UK) Limited, has announced the acquisition of EachStep Care, an older people’s care home business, significantly expanding its footprint in the North of England and Scotland.
Following approval by the care regulators for England and Scotland, the deal sees all of the 15 care homes, which were a division of national social care charity, Community Integrated Care, transfer to Park Homes.
Both businesses have worked closely together ahead of the completion to ensure a smooth transition and the deal sees all frontline colleagues and members of EachStep Care’s leadership team transfer to Park Homes.
Following the deal, the combined business provides care for over 1,500 residents and employs over 1,100 people.
Adam Kaucher, Corporate partner at Irwin Mitchell in Manchester, led the team advising Park Homes. Clare Davitt and William Ogden from Irwin Mitchell's Real Estate team also advised on the deal. Irwin Mitchell were assisted by Thorntons Solicitors in Scotland.
Mike Clifford, Head of Corporate Health and Care at Weightmans’ Birmingham led a national team from Weightmans’ Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow offices who advised Community Integrated Care on the transaction.
