Latest Promotions Come From Legal And Non-Legal Sectors And Highlight Investment Across The Group
Irwin Mitchell has announced a record number of Associate promotions for the third year in a row. The national law firm has promoted 38 members of staff to Associate level – nearly a fifth more than last year.
Group Chief Executive Andrew Tucker said the promotions highlight Irwin Mitchell’s commitment to developing and promoting talent and that the large number reflects the high quality of applications.
More than half of the newly-promoted Associates are female and the promotions, which become effective from 1st November 2015, reflect the broad range of business and legal services provided by the firm.
Expert Opinion
“These promotions represent a major investment in our services and demonstrate our commitment to developing our staff. They highlight the confidence we have in the future of our business and our ambitions to grow as a Group.
“Becoming an Associate is a significant career step and signals to clients and colleagues that the person concerned is a highly regarded expert in our business. Developing our people and creating opportunities for staff to develop their careers is one of Irwin Mitchell’s most important objectives, and this is highlighted by the fact that many of the associates come from non-legal areas such as IT and HR.
“The number of successful candidates reflects well on the quality of people we have in our business. They have demonstrated their strengths and should be very proud of their achievements.” Andrew Tucker - CEO
