Yazmine Lane

I am a Solicitor in the Family Law team at Irwin Mitchell, based in Cambridge. I advise clients on all aspects of relationship breakdown, including divorce, financial arrangements arising from divorce, arrangements for children, and family law injunctions. I also have experience advising on pre- and post- nuptial agreements, as well as arrangements for unmarried couples.

I joined Irwin Mitchell in January 2026, having previously practised at a specialist family law firm in Cambridge. Before that, I trained at a boutique practice in London and qualified as a solicitor in February 2025.

My priority is always to secure the best possible outcome for my clients. I am acutely aware of the sensitivities of family matters and strive to make my clients feel supported and listened to. Where appropriate, I encourage resolution outside of court and encourage pragmatic, sensible discussions.

I am also an active member of the Cambridge and West Suffolk Resolution Committee, contributing to training initiatives and events within the local family law community.

What do you do away from the office?

Away from work, I love exploring, camping, wild swimming and anything that involves a bit of adventure and the great outdoors.
